Brad Thor's latest Scot Harvath novel, Code of Conduct, is a gripping thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. The novel follows Harvath as he investigates a series of seemingly unrelated terrorist attacks that are linked to a shadowy organization known as the Agency.
Harvath, a former Navy SEAL and CIA operative, is now working as a private security consultant. He is hired to investigate a bombing at a shopping mall in London. The bombing is initially believed to be the work of Islamic extremists, but Harvath soon discovers that the truth is much more complicated.
Harvath's investigation leads him to a series of other terrorist attacks around the world, including a hostage situation in Paris and a chemical weapons attack in Germany. As Harvath digs deeper, he uncovers a vast conspiracy that threatens to plunge the world into chaos.
Code of Conduct is a fast-paced and action-packed thriller that will keep you guessing until the very end. Thor does a masterful job of weaving together multiple plot lines and characters, creating a suspenseful and engrossing story.
The Characters
Scot Harvath is a complex and well-developed character. He is a highly skilled and experienced operative, but he is also haunted by the horrors he has witnessed. Harvath is a man of action, but he is also capable of great compassion.
The other characters in Code of Conduct are equally well-developed. There is Carla Diaz, a brilliant CIA analyst who is Harvath's love interest. There is also Mike Nash, a former Marine who is Harvath's close friend and confidant.
